See why people don't care about politics?
From the Sioux Falls Argus Leader Nov. 3, 2003
Gannett News Service reports that many young voters still end up outside the political process, looking in. Katie Freshley, a 21-year-old from Cincinnati, told the news service she thinks George W. Bush is a "warmongering, bloodthirsty racist, homophobic person who should not be in office." But she can't name any of the Democrats running against him. "Scary, huh," she says. "I'm very undecided."
In a study released last month, the Harvard University Institute of Politics found a reawakening of political interest on campuses. The organization surveyed 1,202 students, primarily age 18 to 24.
In a Harvard poll from April 2000, 51 percent said political involvement rarely produced tangible results. In the latest poll, only 34 percent agreed with that statement. The poll found that college voters are more likely than the general population to support Bush and that most students supported the war in Iraq.
I would think if you were in college wouln't you be against war. Think of the draft kids, think of the draft.
you would think that college kids would be against war, but by being in college, they are mostly exempt from the draft, so why would they care? america likes to kill the poor and the stupid.
