One of the biggest pricks you'll ever meet is being pawned off as the liberal answer to Rush Limbaugh.
What I want to know is when did Ed Schultz become a bleeding heart?
For those of you who don't know about Mr. Ed he was a long time sports director at WDAY-TV in Fargo. Known more for his antics off the air than on and his marriage later divorce of the darling of Fargo television Maureen Zimmerman, there is something democrats should know. Ed is not a liberal.
For years he pawned himself off as Fargo radio's local Limbaugh. He peppered his show with contrived Republican logic and crass behavior. Hanging up on people he didn't agree with, then blasting them after the line was dead.
Even if you don't agree with Mr. Limbaugh's politics, the man is a effective communicator. He will piss you off, while making an argument you buy, if only for a second.
So, I'm coming off as a liberal here, so be it. I like to think of myself as socially liberal and economically conservative. Smoke all the dope, look at all the porn and help your neighbor when you can, but don't expect others to follow.
The problem with being a liberal is there is no unity. What is a democrat? That answer is as varied as the people the term represents. On the other hand everyone gets a mental of a Republican as soon as the term is mentioned. Republicans are the Model-T of politicos. They are assembly line products with the same machinery moving their consciousness through suburbia.
So-called liberals are more like the snowflakes of society. They’re all different and they tend to drift to different places never covering the landscape evenly.
Ed Schulz has never hugged a tree, marched in a protest or embraced individuality.
He will fail miserably.
